Hi and Hello

Hey guys,

What’s up? It’s been a really long time so I figured I was due for an update. Especially since so much has been going on lately.

First off, I’d like to address Take Zer0. I get YouTube messages, emails, and comments on various social networks on a pretty regular basis asking what happened to us. I’m going to spend the rest of this entry explaining that, but I want you to know that we’re still here. We even bought a new domain name recently. We have a plan. I’ll just say that TZ is soon to be active again. :)

So what have we been up to? Playing Minecraft. I’m half-kidding. I made that castle, though.

We’ve actually been keeping really busy working on a million projects. And I mean that almost literally. I completed a short film a few weeks ago. And now we’re working on another, this time with some fairly big name actors. It’s fun, but it’s exhausting. And we’ve pretty used up all our resources at this point. To get by, we’ve started developing some filmmaking-related iOS apps. We even have a “coming soon” page on TZP.

I know it sounds random that we’re doing software development, but that was actually my major in college. It’s what I was interested in before I got into film. I spent my junior year of high school programming Tetris into my TI-83+ and making a 2D side-scroller with friends. So, I’d say it makes sense. Besides, both Peter and myself are pretty avid gamers. I’ve played (and loved) almost everything by Valve. SC2, Civ5, Mafia II. I’ve played them all. Eventually, it’d be pretty cool to make a game crossed with an amazing cinema-like story. It’s a nice dream.
